Farst sits enthroned like a little kingdom at 1,482 meters above Umhausen. High above the legendary Engelswand, visitors will be rewarded with breathtaking views and warm hospitality, as they venture up the steep, serpentine road. Farst is one of the oldest settlements in the valley, as early as the 13th century a Schwaighof was founded here. A little secret for nature lovers is a climb further to the Reichalm (closed), duration from Farst approx. 1 hour.
