Haiming-
Ochsengarten
Your outdoor playground
At the entrance to Ötztal, Haiming and its hamlet of Ochsengarten form a hospitable duo that accompanies you from one sporting adventure to the next. Enjoy hiking, biking, climbing, rafting, kayaking, AREA 47 outdoor adventure park and a lot more. The snow-sure Hochoetz-Kühtai ski region offers winter fun as well as beautiful ski tours, winter walks and snowshoe hikes.
Haiming
Every season is the best to let Haiming surprise you. In spring, when thousands of apple trees are in full bloom, the so-called Apple Mile is a truly special experience. In summer it's all about hiking, cycling and inline skating. To cool off, you can jump into the local forest swimming pool or take a white water shower at countless outdoor companies. In winter, you can easily commute to the surrounding ski areas thanks to direct connections. For example, on the skibus via “Sattele” to Ochsengarten – a dream for leisurely skiers and families.
Ochsengarten
Higher, quieter, freer. In the small village of Ochsengarten, accessible via Haiminger Sattele or via Oetz, you feel like you are at the end of the world and right in the middle of a genuine "Ötztal experience". In summer, extensive high-altitude hikes, mountain tours and leisurely alpine pasture visits in the family-friendly hiking region around Hochoetz await you. In winter, the Hochoetz ski area leads right to your doorstep: ski-in & ski-out in the true sense of the word. Free skibus shuttles run every half hour between Ochsengarten and Kühtai. It’s great that the slopes up there are also included in your skipass!
