In Tirol’s longest side valley there are five climatic zones in a row. It's a real treat in terms of scenery and sport! The holiday regions of Oetz, Umhausen-Niederthai, Längenfeld, Sölden, Gurgl and the mountaineering village of Vent also surprise with very different advantages. From typical village settlements at the valley’s entrance to vibrant Sölden and high alpine refuge huts at the far end of the valley – simply discover the "vibes" of Ötztal!

Oetz Region

The villages of Oetz, Sautens and Haiming-Ochsengarten attract thanks to their relaxed flair and myriad options for active people at the entrance to Ötztal.

Umhausen-Niederthai Region

In the pristine cultural and natural areas of central Ötztal, the villages of Umhausen and Niederthai are particularly rich in places of strength.

Längenfeld Region

The golden center of Ötztal with the villages of Längenfeld and Gries combines sport, culture and wellness - cross-country ski mecca & family ski paradise in winter.

Sölden Region

Urban lifestyle, hip hiking, an entire nation for bikers and the world-famous Sölden ski area with 144 km of slopes up to 3,340 m - that's Sölden.

Gurgl Region

At the very end of the valley, the villages of Obergurgl and Hochgurgl shine as enjoyable retreats for top quality skiing, while an Alpine Time Out awaits you in summer.

Vent

There is nothing but mountains around the mountaineering village of Vent, perfect for hut & summit tours, winter sports in the family ski area and genuine charm.
