www.oetztal.com/presse is your free image database of ÖTZTAL TOURISMUS corporation under public law with its registered office in 6450 Sölden, Achweg 5 (hereinafter referred to as “Ötztal Tourismus“) for license-free images, logos, videos and texts to promote the Ötztal for use by member businesses, advertising and press agencies and journalists (hereinafter referred to as “user”).
Before using images/logos/videos and texts, please note the terms of use below.
Permission for uses that go beyond the granted license must be requested directly from Ötztal Tourismus in each individual case.

a) Types of use – The following types of use are granted
Ötztal Tourismus grants the user a license to use the images/logos/videos and texts made available in the image database of Ötztal Tourismus for use for the purpose of a simple permission to use works within the scope of the following license:
- The license is valid worldwide for the editorial (non-commercial) use of the provided images/logos/videos and texts to promote the Ötztal in online and print media (e.g. websites, newspapers, magazines, advertising brochures, catalogues, newsletters, etc.) and on social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram), video/film platforms (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok);
- The granted license is non-exclusive and non-transferable;
- Editorial adjustments are permitted, namely to adjust the images/logos/videos and texts editorially within the scope of a report or post (e.g. changing the image size/format and changing the resolution) while preserving the author’s moral rights.
All rights to images/logos not mentioned above, including all exploitation rights and other industrial property rights to the images/logos/videos and texts, remain expressly with Ötztal Tourismus or, respectively, the author or producer.
b) The following forms of use shall not be granted
Excluded or, respectively, not granted are all uses of the images/logos/videos and texts not expressly permitted in point 1. a) above. In particular, the following is therefore not permitted:
- the use through further licensing or sale of the images/logos/videos and texts, in image databases, image catalogues and related image collections and
- the use for merchandising purposes, namely in particular the production and distribution of goods of all kinds using the images/logos/videos and texts provided (e.g. souvenirs, posters, postcards, items of clothing, printed matter including comics, sound carriers, headgear, mouse pads, buttons, etc.).
The provision of the images/logos/videos and texts within the scope of the authorization of use is free of charge.
The provision for use of the images/logos/videos and texts is in principle unlimited in time, but this is subject to the express reservation of a right of revocation on the part of Ötztal Tourismus at any time. Ötztal Tourismus is entitled to limit and/or revoke the permission of use at any time without giving reasons.
- www.oetztal.com/press may only be used for legally permitted purposes.
- www.oetztal.com/press may not be used to distribute defamatory, pornographic or otherwise unlawful material, to threaten or harass third parties, or to infringe the rights (including privacy rights) of third parties.
The use of the image database within the scope of the permission of use is free of charge, therefore any warranty and/or liability on the part of ÖTZTAL TOURISMUS regarding the use of the provided images/logos/videos and texts is excluded in its entirety.
In the event of a violation of these Terms of Use, Ötztal Tourismus has the right to block access to www.oetztal.com/press or only parts of it with immediate effect; Ötztal Tourismus reserves the right to assert further claims (in particular revocation of usage permits, claims for damages).
The images/logos/videos and texts available on www.oetztal.com/press represent as a whole a database protected by copyright. It is prohibited to take over or edit this database in its structure, either in whole or in part, without the consent of Ötztal Tourismus.
This license agreement shall be governed exclusively by the substantive laws of the Republic of Austria, except vis-à-vis consumers, insofar as the protection granted is thereby withdrawn by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the consumer has his permanent residence. Outside the scope of application for consumer law cases, the Austrian court with subject-matter jurisdiction at the registered office of ÖTZTAL TOURISMUS shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from this contractual relationship. However, Ötztal Tourismus reserves the right to sue at the general place of jurisdiction.
