Explanation
The Maria Hilf pilgrimage church is the starting point of the contemplation trail, about 20m below the church the trail leads you slightly uphill through the meadows and forests of Gries.
The pilgrimage church Maria Hilf, starting point of the contemplation trail, sets a spiritual and reflective tone for the circular hiking path. This path gently ascends through lush green meadows and forests of Gries, following the Stations of the Cross to the newly constructed viewing platform. From here, one enjoys a marvelous view of the quaint mountain village, with the distinctive peaks of the Stubai Alps in the background, including the Schrankogel and the Mutterberger Seespitze. The beautifully landscaped hiking trail then leads gently downhill to the Stiftskapelle.
How do you find your treasure? There are small caches (treasure boxes) along the marked route. You will find secret letters in one cache and enter all the letters in your treasure map. Only those who have collected all the letters can form the solution word. With this solution word you can pick up a gift at the Längenfeld Information Center! (For children).

Turn-by-turn directions
You start at the pilgrimage church and walk along the road out of the valley and turn right after approx. 20m. The slight ascent leads you up the hill into the forest. You can look for the first cache right at the start. Continue along a wide meadow path above Gries through meadows and woods. The path leads you to a viewing platform. Don't forget to look for the second cache here too.
From here you also have a wonderful view of the small mountain village, with the striking mountains of the Stubai Alps with the Schrankogel and the Mutterberger Seepitze in the background.
After you have retrieved the second cache and put it back, continue along the path. At a crossroads, where you will also see an electricity pylon, the next cache is already waiting for you. The path then leads you slightly downhill, where you can take a break on a bench. Just before you leave the forest, don't forget to look for the fourth cache. This is a little below the path. Now you come from the forest to the meadows and soon to the chapel. Here you will find the foot of the fifth cache. Now walk along the main road back to the starting point.
