Take the Acherkogelbahn in Oetz which will bring you to the Hochoetz ski region. The beautiful, signposted snowshoe trail starts just below the panoramic restaurant (2020 m). The trail goes towards the “Rotes Wandl”. From there the trail leads slightly downhill, away from the piste, through the forest and crosses just below the Brunnenkopf lift through the snowy winter forest to the Acherkogelblick viewing platform. The impressive view of the Acherkogel invites you to linger. The next part of the snowshoe trail is more demanding and requires a certain level of snowshoe experience. After about 1 km and 170 m in altitude you reach the Bielefelder Hütte. Here you can make yourself comfortable, enjoy the view and gather new strength with a plate of Kaiserschmarrn. To descend, follow the slightly steeper path that leads away from the hut towards your right, down until you get back to the beginning of the tour. Follow the same trail back to the Acherkogelbahn.
