Explanation
This treasure tour takes you slightly uphill to the unmanaged Ramolalm. Through a beautiful forest, you come to flat meadows and enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Sometimes you will see grazing animals nearby and, if you are lucky, an eagle will watch you from high above.
How do you find your treasure?
There are small caches (treasure boxes) along the marked route. You will find secret letters in each cache. Enter all the letters in your treasure map. Only those who have collected all the letters can form the solution word. With this solution word you can pick up a gift at the Vent Information Center! (For children up to the age of 16).
Author’s recommendation
There are other caches here in Vent, maybe you have time to look for them too?
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.

Turn-by-turn directions
The mountaineering village of Vent is located at 1,895 meters, where you start your hike directly at the Vent information point. Walk through the village towards the cable car, cross the bridge and take the path towards the Ramolalm. You'll see a bench right at the start and maybe you'll find the first cache here?
Now continue towards the Ramolalm (2,215 meters), which is no longer farmed. At first the ascent is a little steeper. A narrow hiking trail leads you through the forest. Do not pass cache 2, which is hidden in the forest on the right. You will soon reach a clearing and from then on it is no longer so steep. During the hike you can marvel at the mountains all around you: Similaun (3,599 meters), the Talleitspitze (3,406 meters) and the Ötztaler Wildspitze (3,768 meters). There are benches here and there so you can enjoy the view or take a photo stop.
Once you have reached the clearing, the trail climbs uphill again and you will soon find cache 3 and 4. The higher you hike, the fewer trees there are, but cache 5 has found a special hiding place. From here onwards, you will only find a few trees and may come across a few goats or other animals. The narrow hiking trail leads you over hill and dale and you will soon reach caches 6 and 7. A little further on there is another short ascent until you finally reach the Ramolalm on a flat meadow. Here you are above Vent and can enjoy the view of the mountains and the valley.
