Glaciologist Dr Andrea Fischer knows the glaciers of the Ötztal Alps like the back of her hand. In a lecture, she will talk about interesting aspects of the history of research on the Ötztal glaciers, as well as issues relating to climate change, glacier protection and the utilisation of glaciers for tourism.
