Music at the crip
Description
The "Sängerfreundschaft Lainerhof-Quartett Salzburg & Ötztaler Viergesang"
has a long-standing tradition. Even during the "golden era" of the Ötztaler Viergesang, joint concerts were performed in Tyrol and Salzburg. Albert Höllrigl, from the now-disbanded Ötztaler Viergesang of Sautens, has been filling the role of the missing second bass for the Lainerhof Quartet for some time. In 2021, 2022, and 2024, Gabriel Waibl, also from the Ötztaler Viergesang, enriched the ensemble as a first bass and second tenor, transforming the quartet into a quintet for notable performances at the Salzburg Cathedral, St. Blasius Church Salzburg, Zell am See Parish Church, and the Fire & Voice Festival in Lungau-Salzburg.
For a contemplative and festive Christmas experience, the men’s quintet of the Sängerfreundschaft Salzburg-Tirol will offer a performance of soulful Christmas songs:
Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 5:00 PM
Michaelskapelle under the parish church in Ötz
The singers include:
Rainer Höllrigl (Tenor 1)
Robert Leitner (Tenor 2)
Erich Wieland (Bass 1)
Gabriel Waibl (Tenor 2, Bass 1)
Albert Höllrigl (Bass 2)
Join us for a moving evening filled with traditional Christmas harmony!
