In the center of the village starts a leisurely path, which first ascends moderately and then gently descends through the enchanting larch and Swiss stone pine forest to the Feldkögele (2018m). Along the way, you'll cross numerous mountain streams, including the lively Weißen Bach. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to spot a spotted nutcracker, squirrels, or even deer. Upon reaching the idyllic Feldkögele, you can enjoy the silence, admire the small pond, and collect the coveted stamp for your hiking pass at the stamp station. On the descent to the Venter Landstraße, you'll be treated to a breathtaking view of the picturesque village of Vent, the majestic Talleitspitze, and the legendary Similaun.

How do you find your Treasure? Following the marked route you will discover small caches (treasure boxes). Each cache contains secret letters. Write these letters into the right box of your treasure hunting map. Everyone who has found all secret letters is able to compose the codeword. Knowing the code word, you get a small present at the Information Vent! (For children up to the age of 16)

Turn-by-turn directions

You start directly at the bus stop, the parking lot or the information office in Vent. From there, you walk a short, steep section up a narrow path. At the top, you walk out of the valley on a wide field. The first cache follows at a fountain and a wall. From here, follow the wide field (in winter this is a valley descent) further up. At a crossroads (see signposts), turn right onto a narrower hiking trail and walk towards Feldkögele. There is a fence immediately after the turn-off onto this path - here you have to look for the second cache.

Searched and found, you continue along the hiking trail, past stones, trees and flowers. It goes upwards very easily in places. Shortly before the path really goes uphill, you will see a large stone - you have to find your way to it to find cache 3.  Then walk briefly upwards again and continue straight ahead. A bridge follows that takes you over a stream and then you reach a section where there are almost no trees left. The avalanche was busy here in winter. You also have a wonderful view of the valley here. Soon you reach the entrance to the forest again. Perhaps you will come across a deer or a unicorn? Hike a little way into the forest and you can start looking for cache 4. Shortly afterwards you will see a turn-off towards the valley. However, we recommend that you continue on to the bonus at Feldkögele. It takes about 5-10 minutes and you are already there. Here you can enjoy a wonderful view of Vent and the Vent mountains. The pond at Feldkögele is simply wonderful.

Once you have found the bonus cache, walk back along the forest path to the junction and hike along the forest until you reach a gate where you have to search again.

After the gate, walk through the meadows to the main road. You have to cross this and then walk along the main road out of the valley until you come to a wooden bridge that takes you over the Venter Ache to the other side of the stream. Once there, continue along the wide road until you reach a tree that is almost standing in the stream - a cache is waiting for you here. Please stay dry and don't go too far from the water.

Then you have to return a short distance back to the path to hike back towards Vent. Stay on the wide field path and walk towards Vent. It goes slightly uphill and you will soon reach two trees "the entrance to Vent". Don't forget to look for the next cache here.

Through the "gate" you will see a small lake further down on the right-hand side. The fields here are fenced off and you may come across grazing cattle.

Continue along the wide field path towards Vent. It goes up and down again and again. But you will soon reach the last cache on this loop. Once you have found it, you have to hike a little further and you will see Vent on the other side. The path ends shortly before you reach the large bridge. From here, you can continue the second treasure hunt or head towards the information center in Vent to pick up your treasure. To do this, hike back out of the valley over the bridge.
