Turn-by-turn directions

From the Freizeitarena you hike in the direction of Platte and Moos to the Moosalm.

From there, follow the yellow signs on the forest and hiking trail to the Brunnenbergalm.

After the Alm you hike on the steep mountain path through the beautiful arolla pine-larch forest. Then you cross the wide fields from where you can already see the Brunnenkogelhaus.

The last meters are completed in short and long serpentines up to the Brunnenkogelhaus at 2,738 m.

The descent follows the same route as the ascent and takes about 2,5 hours.

As an alternative route for the way back, you can take the path below the hut over the Schönkar in the direction of the Windachtal. From Fiegl's Gasthaus you can take the hut taxi back to the village in Sölden. This variant (with the hut taxi) is a little shorter.

Public transport

Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local taxi companies through the valley to your desired destination. Please find the current bus timetable here: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
