From Obergurgl south to the last houses in the village. From there follow the wide path towards the Zirben Alm. Then continue in the direction of the stone pine forest up to a ledge (wayside cross and bench) opposite the nasal wall. Here right down to the river, follow the narrow path to the 30 m long bridge. Hike over mountain meadows to the Beilsteinweg which leads on to Beilstein or back to Obergurgl.

Public transport
Enjoy a both comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station in Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi. The current bus schedule can be found at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
Directions
The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps.
