NEW! Via Ferrata Rosskopf in Hochoetz
Opening on Saturday, October 5th
The idea for a via ferrata on the northern side of the Rosskopf in Hochoetz, leading to the summit cross, originated in 2022. On Saturday, October 5th, we will celebrate the completion with an opening event in Hochoetz. The via ferrata will be officially opened at the entrance at 10:30 AM. Following the opening, all climbing enthusiasts will have the unique opportunity to be among the first to conquer the via ferrata. All Rosskopf "climbers" can receive a free mountain and valley ride ticket for the event day by presenting climbing equipment at the Acherkogelbahn ticket office. A commemorative medal and a special Rosskopf climber lunchbox will be provided for each climber. Enjoy a relaxing conclusion at the panoramic restaurant starting at 12 PM with live music from "The Acoustic Band - Ben Jarvis." Note: Via ferrata set rentals are available directly at Malisport, Acherkogelbahn valley station in Oetz.
