Hochjoch Hospiz
Description
We hike directly from the mountaineers’ village of Vent across colourful meadows up to the suspension bridge. Our way across the 46m-long, free-floating bridge to the Rofenhöfe farms is breath-taking. The view down into the 31m-deep gorge of the Rofenbach brook is our first adventure of the day. Along the path and the subsequent gorge section, we continue into the valley to the Hochjoch Hospiz. Up there a unique high-alpine landscape awaits us peppered with the most beautiful alpine flowers. Wonderful views of the many glaciers and the majestic 3,000m-peaks open up – fascinating and unforgettable. Registration: https://www.oetztal.com/experiences
