Ötztal Kajakfestival

The first edition of the Ötztal Kayak Festival will take place in Oetz from 20 to 22 September 2024. In addition to a boatercross race on the slalom course (WW III - WW IV), there will be equipment tests, several workshops and a rich side program.

September 20, 2024
10:00 AM - 4:30 PM: Equipment testing and exhibitors at the kayak slalom course in Oetz (Brandach Bridge), workshops, guided tours
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Parade "For the Ötztaler Ache" through Oetz - organized by the WET association
6:00 PM - 12:00 AM: "Water Festival" with information booths and live music at the central parking lot in Oetz - organized by the WET association
8:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Safety workshop and film screening at Saal Ez

September 21, 2024
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM: Testival at the slalom course, with DJ, drinks, and chill area
8:00 AM –  9:30 AM: Bib number distribution for Oetz Kayak Cross
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Briefing for Oetz Kayak Cross Race Base
10:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Qualifying runs for Oetz Kayak Cross
2:00 PM – 3:40 PM: Heat 1 Round of 16
4:00 PM – 4:40 PM: Heat 2 Quarterfinals
5:00 PM – 5:20 PM: Heat 3 Semifinals
5:50 PM – 6:00 PM: Heat 4 Finals

9:30 PM: Awards ceremony at the Riverhouse (AREA 47)
From 10:00 PM: Party at the Riverhouse (AREA 47)
