The solid wooden beam construction gives the house an endearing, rustic atmosphere. Our house Alpenapart Schmid is located in the mountain village of Niederthai on a high plateau at 1,550 metres above sea level. Winter guests love the cross-country ski trails right on the doorstep and the ski lifts just a few minutes away. The ski area in Niederthai is the ideal place for beginners, families and children - AND INCLUSIVE for guests of our house (Niederthai Card). Summer guests start right outside the front door to the Stuibenfall - Tyrol's largest waterfall, many hiking and mountain tours or explore huts and alpine pastures by bike. In Umhausen (7 km away) you will find the Ötzi village, the bird of prey park and the bathing lake, as well as numerous shopping facilities.

Arrival information
Check-In: 3 p.m. / Check-Out: 10 a.m.
Route: Ötztal federal road in the direction of Umhausen - turn left at the Kapferer car dealer and turn right at the next crossing towards Niederthai. Follow the mountain road for about 7 km. In Niederthai you turn right at the sawmill (ski lift in winter) straight ahead to the football pitch, then turn right again. Follow the road for approx. 220 metres, our house is on the left-hand side, diagonally opposite the Hotel Tauferberg.
