Our house nestles on a small hill above the valley floor of Längenfeld in the hamlet of Winklen. Längenfeld’s village center is approx. 4 km away. There you will find shops, varied restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool and the Aqua Dome thermal spa. In Winklen there is also a farm shop selling fresh milk, yoghurt, eggs and honey from organic farming. Our scenic area boasts countless hiking trails to fabulous Alpine pastures, the Lehner Wasserfall via ferrata and Ötztal’s local heritage museum which are close by. The unrivaled Ötztal Cycle Trail invites you to explore the valley by bike. Sölden and its summer and winter offers and attractions is approx. 16 km away. Umhausen at approx. 8 km, boasts the Stuiben Falls, Ötzi Village, Birds of Prey Park and the swimming lake which are always worth a visit.

Directions: Along Ötztal federal road (B186) to the hamlet of Au. Turn right in front of Hotel Bergwelt. Follow this road until you reach the bus stop. Then turn right behind the bus stop, follow the road for approx. 250 m to the next junction where you turn right again and continue to the next junction. Follow the rising road towards the left - our house can be found on the right after approx. 300 meters.
