Our Appart Ruby is the IDEAL starting point for this. We are centrally located in Umhausen, surrounded by the Ötztal mountains. In the village there is a restaurant, bakery and bus stop nearby, from where you can easily reach your excursion destinations and the valley's ski areas by bus. For "little skiers" we recommend the Hochoetz family ski area. Cross-country ski trails and the Ötztal Snowman with slide hill, children's snowball wall & loungers can be found in Niederthai (approx. 10 minutes by car).

Road: Follow the road B186 into the valley until Umhausen. Take the first entrance on the left after the Ötztal Sheep Wool Center and follow the road for approx 290 m. Our house is on the right hand side.
