Description

Our family-run alpine hut is located at 1747m above sea level and is probably one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Ötztal, with views of the Mieminger chain, Lechtal, Ötztal and Stubai Alps and is also a popular starting point for many mountain tours and hikes. Not a self-catering hut, but we offer 5 rooms for guest rental! We cook our own meals and offer typical Tyrolean dishes. The hut is located at the entrance to the Ötztal valley, 800 meters almost vertically above the valley floor, above Oetz/Tumpen and offers an ascent both from Tumpen via a forest path (walking time approx. 2 hours) and via Oetz/Piburgersee (walking time approx. 3 hours). Customs and tradition are very important; hut delicacies with products from our own farm, fresh spices and herbs from our own herb garden, every Saturday barbecue evening in good weather. Alpine breakfast available daily on advance booking. Attention: only open in summer! (beginning of June - end of September, no day off)
