In case of registration for the Glacier Trail Run the participant accepts the exclusion of liability of the organizer for damages of any kind. He will not make any claims against the organizer and the sponsors of the event, nor against the owners of private trails or their representatives for damages and injuries of any kind that could arise from the participation in the event. Runners declare that they have trained sufficiently for participating in this competition and that they are physically healthy. The organizer and the organizing team have the responsibility for the orderly and safe course of the race: therefore the organizing team, legal bodies, doctors, track marshals and attendants of the refreshment points have to be obeyed. If the organizer recognizes a questionable state of health, the participant can be taken out of the race. Furthermore, he/she is responsible for his/her own liability and accident insurance. The runner agrees that all data entered in the registration form as well as photos and film recordings made by him/her may be used without any claims for remuneration. The participant assures that the date of birth is correct and that the personal start number will not be passed on to third parties. In case of cancellation due to force majeure (inclement weather conditions, etc.) the entry fee will not be refunded. The organizer reserves the right to postpone the start times of the single competitions or to make changes to the running course due to certain reasons.

Participants have no right to closed roads and routes. They must obey the provisions of the Austrian road traffic regulations, give way to all vehicles & other road users. The participants themselves are responsible for violations, the same applies to accidents resulting from non-compliance with these regulations. The participants have to follow the instructions of the police at any time. Vehicles must not be parked on forest trails or in forest areas. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed away at the owner’s expense.

The re-registration to another trail running track is possible until 12 July 2024 by paying the difference of the participation fee plus a handling fee of € 5.00. A corresponding message has to be sent to the organizer in written. For the Glacier Trail Run 2024 the following cancellation conditions apply:

  • In case of cancellation up to eight weeks before the start of the event, participants will be refunded 70% of the entry fee.
  • In case of cancellation up to four weeks before the start of the event, participants will be refunded 50% of the entry fee.
  • After the above mentioned deadline no refund of the entry fee will be made.

Passing on the personal start number (change of participant) is only possible if it is officially communicated to the registration office, regarding the identical trail running track. It must take place before the official registration deadline!
