Glacier Trail - 14K
Course Description
This is a beginner-friendly trail. Set in a dreamlike backdrop with beautiful trails, the race starts at an altitude of nearly 2,000 meters in Obergurgl. After a 1-kilometer warm-up, runners enter the Swiss Pine Forest. Here, they face a 3-kilometer ascent to the first aid station at Schönwieshütte.
After a refreshment break, the route continues into the stunning Rotmoostal valley, where participants can enjoy the fantastic natural scenery on the way to Hohe Mut Alm and the second aid station. Upon reaching 2,670 meters, there’s a downhill stretch through the Gaisbergtal toward Obergurgl. In the final 2 kilometers, runners can enjoy the cheers of spectators all the way to the finish line.
