Description
Experience the fascination of the Ötztal glacier world up close on an expedition to the Rofenkar Glacier. An experienced mountain guide accompanies you at an altitude of over 3,000 meters while you learn important skills for safe movement on ice and snow. After a comfortable ascent on the chairlift, the ascent begins past impressive icefalls. On the Rofenkar glacier, you will be introduced to the use of ropes, ice axes and crampons and practise walking and belaying correctly. The brave can even abseil into a crevasse - an unforgettable adventure! Enjoy the mountain panorama with spectacular views before returning to the Breslauer Hütte for a refreshment stop.
